Include Opt-Out Request
- One of the most important rules for email blasts applies to opt-out requests. According to the law, you must include a section that tells customers how they can stop receiving email messages from your company in the future. The section might consist of an "unsubscribe" link or a specific email address, and it must be easy to find and understand. Your opt-out mechanism should be active for 30 days after the email is sent and you are required to honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days.
