    • Situated in Deerwood, Heartland Hockey Camp claims to be the only privately owned, self-contained hockey camp in the United States. As of 2010, it is owned by former NHL player Steve Jensen. Heartland Hockey Camp consists of a series of camps, including Mites, Pee Wee, Bantam, Goalie, Squirt, Girls/Women, High School and Adult. Costs depend on the individual camps, but range from $825 to $1,025 per session as of 2010.

    Top Dog Hockey

    • Conducting weeklong sessions, Top Dog Hockey Camps take place in Minneapolis, Prior Lake, Breezy Point and Blaine, Minnesota. The weeklong sessions are divided up into Developmental, Accelerated, Golf/Hockey and Goalie camps. Developmental camps focus on the fundamentals of hockey. Accelerated camps focus on children that have learned the basics and want to master more complicated skills. Golf/Hockey camps aim to improve golf and hockey skills in one week. Goalie camps focus on goalie skills. Costs depend on each camp and the desired length of the camp for each player, ranging from $525 to $1,419 as of 2010.

    International Hockey Schools

    • The Minnesota location for International Hockey Schools camps is Detroit Lakes, about 200 miles outside Minneapolis. International Hockey Schools offers 15 individual, weeklong ice hockey camps. The camps are focused on specific hockey skill sets, including Advanced Shooting and Advanced Overspeed. The camp season usually begins in June and ends in July. Camps are individually priced but as of 2010 range from $450 to $750, depending on whether the individual is a day camper or an overnight camper.

    Pro Ambitions Hockey

    • Former NHL player Jeff Serowik is the founder and president of Pro Ambitions Hockey Camps, now in their 20th year. Pro Ambitions camps are located across the country, with Minnesota locations in Faribault. The camps are open to campers ages 10 to 17 and usually are held in August. The two Minnesota camps are Elite Battle Camp and Goalie Camp. Cost for the Elite Battle Camp as of 2010 is $600, and the Goalie Camp is $510.
